Description
Softly sculptural, this sterling silver pendant is created using Mitsuro Hikime - a traditional Japanese wax technique that creates the most beautiful natural lines and flow.
 
What I love about this process is the fluidity of the wax. As it is gently warmed and shaped by hand, it forms soft ridges, curves and striations that feel almost like they have grown naturally. These details are then captured and cast in recycled sterling silver, giving the pendant its own texture, depth and character. Suspended from a simple 18" sterling silver trace chain, the pendant sits beautifully as an understated everyday piece, while still feeling sculptural and special.
 
Tactile, organic and quietly striking, this piece is simple enough to wear every day, but sculptural enough to feel special. A beautiful standalone pendant, or perfect worn with the matching Mitsuro stud earrings.
