Description
A sculptural sterling silver pendant with a soft, leaf-like form and beautiful flowing lines across the surface.
 
This piece is created using Mitsuro Hikime - a traditional Japanese wax technique that allows the wax to move, stretch and form its own natural striations as it is shaped by hand.
 
What I love about this pendant is the way the lines seem to flow from top to tip, almost like movement, fabric or something found in nature. Once cast in recycled sterling silver, those delicate marks are held permanently in the metal, giving the piece its texture, depth and quiet sense of life.
 
Elegant but not overly delicate, this pendant has a lovely presence when worn. It is simple enough for everyday, but with enough sculptural detail to feel special.
